Weebly Audio Players Support MP3 Files
The Weebly Audio Player is currently available to clients who have a PRO account. When you want to display an audio file on your website, which can be played online, the Audio Player is a great tool to use. The only limitation is the files must be MP3. This was a challenge for me recently. A client delivered an audio file in an m4a format. I searched online to find a way to convert the file. There are a lot of ideas online, but, remarkably I found the best way and want to share that with you here.
Weebly suggested this and after wasting a lot of time trying other ways I found their idea and it worked great. This is the page I needed the mp3 files for. |

The basic steps to convert your audio file to MP3 are as follows:
I am excited to find this easy to use conversion method and to never again need to find an online service who will want me to subscribe, upload my files, and wait for them to email me converted versions. Why do all that when you can use the iTunes program, most of us already have it, and it is easy, secure, and free?
- Open your iTunes program
- Follow the directions at Weebly.
- To add a file to your library Drag and Drop it from the folder on your computer to the iTunes Library.
- After the conversion is completed click on the file to find the list of audios (the original and the converted file will both be on the list). Drag and Drop the new version to the folder on your computer where you have the original.
- Proceed on Weebly in edit screen to upload the audio to your website audio player.
